A recent gathering in Madrid united religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community eu news channel of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can strengthen coexistence.
During the event, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
